Your Opportunity at ARC’TERYX: 
 
As the Manager, Marketing – Taiwan, you lead the planning and execution of marketing for the across retail and wholesale channels. Partnering with channel owners and regional marketing teamsyou write campaign and project briefs that integrate into the go-to-market process. This role works closely with Creative and Product Line Management (PLM) teams to inform and develop the seasonal calendars, aligned to the overarching brand strategy. 

This role is based in Taipei office and is open to Friday Work from home. Candidates must be eligible to work in Taiwan.

The Brand Marketing team is the direct connection between the guest and the Arc’teryx brand, through content and experience. We work in lockstep with our Regional Brand, Creative, Communications, Community, and Operational Teams, as well as our partners and agencies to create experiences and tell stories that are relevant, thought-provoking and true to who we are.  

 If you were the Manager, Marketing –Taiwan, here are some of the core activities you would be doing: 

  • Developing, managing, and executing marketing and communication plans, in close partnership with channel owners across E-comm, Retail and Community teams 

  • Overseeing the end-to-end execution of campaigns, from planning and execution to results and recap and managing the production budget 

  • Managing the seasonal marketing calendar and writing briefs in accordance with brand strategies 

  • Managing how creative assets and campaigns are delivered – inclusive of channels owned by both Global and Regional teams 

  • Working closely with PLM, Design, and Creative teams to develop strong understanding of collections and build product education tools 

  • Creating global directives and tools to guide how it shows up in market across events, retail stores, and community engagements 

Here are some of the things you could be working on in the future: 

  • Presenting strategies to Global teams in key stage gate meetings 

  • Developing strategies for brand events and launches in emerging markets 

  • Working on future retail concepts including stand alone and pop-up stores 

 

Are you our next Manager, Marketing - Taiwan? 

  • You have a bachelor's degree in marketing, communications or the equivalent field 

  • You have 5+ years of experience in a marketing or creative role, including 2 years in management 

  • You have a strong understanding of the outdoor and fashion market landscapes 

  • You have a strong ability to communicate to both an audience of peers and of senior leaders 

  • You have a proven track record and deep understanding of marketing concepts, channels and platforms 

  • You have a thorough understanding of customers’ online behavior, from brand awareness and acquisition tactics to transactional experience 

  • You can leverage data to establish an online marketing vision and strategy 

  • You are highly organized, able to effectively manage your time, and you possess strong analytical, presentation and communication skills 

  • You are proactive in identifying the root cause of issues and developing solutions 

  • You are highly flexible and adaptable when faced with ambiguity 

  • You effectively balance autonomy and collaboration 

  • You inspire breakthrough thinking and continuous improvement 

  • You seek the best (but sometimes not the easiest) solutions, with an unwavering commitment to do what is right
