School Description
JadeClass is an English-language training center based in Shanghai that is fully-licensed by the Shanghai Education Commission. We provide enrichment education to bright Chinese students who plan on attending university abroad. Our students vary in age from 6-16 and are carefully screened for English level, behavior, and motivation. We select only the most motivated students and help them achieve success not just in testing but also in adapting to a Western-style learning environment鈥攁 process we have been perfecting since our founding in 2008.
Our current program offerings include small-group classes in ESL, literature, creative writing, science, mathematics, social studies, and history.
We are seeking talented educators to collaborate with our existing team of teachers and curriculum designers. In particular, this person will have experience teaching kindergarten and primary-level students.

Job Description
路聽聽聽聽聽 Teach ESL/English classes from JadeClass materials
路聽聽聽聽聽 Maximum class size of 6 students
路聽聽聽聽聽 Classes are 2 hours in length
路聽聽聽聽聽 Classes are highly interactive with students evaluated in part on their participation
路聽聽聽聽聽 Compensation is after-tax and is based on hours taught
路聽聽聽聽聽 No office hours are required. All of our lesson materials are provided, so our part-time teachers are not responsible for any lesson planning.
路聽聽聽聽聽 No grading is required. All grading is performed by our full-time teachers and support staff.

School Schedule
During the spring and fall semesters, we adhere to the following schedule except when government-required rescheduling occurs:
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Friday evening classes available from 16:00-20:00
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Saturday classes available from 8:00-20:00
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Sunday classes available from 8:00-20:00

Note: Part-time teachers must be available for at least one entire day (8 hours) each weekend throughout the semester. Part-time schedules can be adjusted from semester to semester to accommodate the teacher鈥檚 changing schedule.
