We are now looking for a French or Portuguese speaking Researcher to join our Intelligence and Investigations team in Nairobi or London on a six month fixed term contract basis. In this role you will support a team conducting intelligence and investigations across sub-Saharan Africa. You will participate in the investigation, evaluation and interpretation of open source and human intelligence information and contribute to the production of well-written reports to serve a range of intelligence requirements for our clients. You should be a critical thinker with an interest in business transactions and operations.

Tasks and Responsibilities

  • Conduct high-quality research to support on a range of intelligence and investigations projects including due diligence, strategic intelligence, ESG due diligence, market entry studies, as well as other problem-solving investigations.
  • Support the team on business development initiatives such as pre-meeting preparatory and scoping research, subject matter briefings, and marketing material including case studies.
  • Support the team’s knowledge management initiatives, including the identification of new tools and information sources to strengthen research capabilities.
