Mission Statement The Platform team creates the technology that enables Spotify to learn quickly and scale easily, enabling rapid growth in our users and our business around the globe. Spanning many disciplines, we work to make the business work; creating the infrastructure, tooling, frameworks, and capabilities needed to welcome a billion customers. About the Team You’ll join the Connectivity squad within Spotify’s Core Infrastructure studio. This team owns the client networking stack end-to-end, from HTTP requests to real-time messaging and connection state management. Working at the intersection of mobile platforms and backend systems, the squad plays a critical role in ensuring seamless connectivity for hundreds of millions of users globally. This is an opportunity to join early in the squad’s formation, working alongside a small group of senior engineers with high ownership and direct influence on technical direction. You’ll collaborate closely with backend teams to shape client-server communication, protocols, and reliability at scale.
