Foundation is the team that makes every product team at Knowunity faster, we own the core backend in Go, the Flutter mobile foundation, infrastructure, and the agentic/AI setup that's central to how we ship. We're hiring a Senior Platform Engineer to help define and evolve the systems everything else is built on, and to operate where product engineering and AI tooling meet. You'll work on the systems the rest of engineering depends on, and help shape how AI fits into our day-to-day work.
Your Impact
Core backend platform: Design, build, and maintain Go services and the patterns other teams depend on.
Mobile foundation: Own foundational parts of the Flutter app, including shared components, performance, and build tooling.
Developer experience: Drive end-to-end DevEx, CI/CD, local dev, internal frameworks, faster feedback loops.
Infrastructure & operations: Strengthen reliability and operational maturity across observability, and deploys
Agentic & AI infrastructure: Build out how AI tools integrate into our codebase, our workflows, and eventually our product.
Your Background
Multiple years shipping production software at meaningful scale, ideally including time on platform, infrastructure, or core systems work.
Strong background in backend and/or mobile development, depth in one with curiosity about the other. Ideally existing experience in Go and Flutter.
Solid grounding in DevOps, CI/CD, and modern infrastructure practices.
Genuine interest or background in AI, you don't need to have trained models, but you should be excited about agents as a serious engineering surface.
You enjoy fixing the things that slow other people down. You think clearly about tradeoffs, communicate well across teams, and don't need your name on a feature to feel the work mattered.
