Position

We are looking for an experienced and hands-on Lead Technical Service Engineer to support the growth of Smappee’s EV charging business in the Netherlands, with a strong focus on DC fast charging infrastructure. In this role, you act as the technical reference point for installers, service partners, and strategic customers, ensuring reliable commissioning, troubleshooting, and operational excellence of our charging solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Act as the sole technical expert for DC and AC charging infrastructure projects in the Netherlands.
  • Support commissioning, troubleshooting, and technical interventions for complex charging installations.
  • Diagnose and resolve issues related to charging hardware (AC and DC), connectivity, backend communication, and energy systems.
  • Coordinate technical escalations with HQ Engineering and Product teams.
  • Support installers and service partners during complex technical cases and interventions.
  • Drive root-cause analysis and contribute to structural improvements in service quality and operational processes.
  • Support warranty handling, spare parts coordination, technical training, and knowledge sharing.
  • Deliver technical training to partners and installers.
