We’re looking for a detail-oriented Supply Engineer to join our team. In this role, you’ll manage different parts of our glazing projects and make sure everything runs smoothly. Your knowledge will be key to delivering high-quality results.

Key Responsibilities

1. Production launch and control

  • ⁠Starting production processes: setting up glass orders, checking hardware availability, and ordering any custom hardware or materials if needed.
  • Inventory planning: forecast demand, ensure warehouses are supplied.

2. Suppliers and procurement

  • Supplier sourcing: identify and evaluate local/international suppliers. 
  • Negotiate prices, payment terms, delivery timelines.
  • Ordering consumables for the installation team and warehouse (based on calls).
  • Following up with suppliers about order status and solving any issues with delivery or pickup to warehouses.

3. Drawings and documentation

  • Review technical drawings and specifications to create material lists.
  • Check dimensions, finishes, and quality requirements before ordering.
  • ⁠Keeping track of changes in estimates and documents. 
  • ⁠Making sure technical documents and component orders are prepared on time for container arrivals.

4. Cross-team collaboration

  • Cross-functional collaboration and consulting with Sales, Project Managers, designers/engineers, and estimators.
  • Support teams with substitutions and change orders.
  • Provide pricing and material info for budgeting.
  • Help the warehouse team check if parts match drawings.
