For decades, the NHS has struggled with fragmented systems that make simple tasks feel impossible. At Accurx, we’re changing that by building a single, system-wide platform that connects everyone through communication.

What started as a way for GPs to text a patient, has now evolved into an all-in-one digital toolkit used by 98% of GP practices and 68% (and growing!) of NHS Trusts.

Our platform now powers Total Triage to manage patient demand, and Self-Book that lets patients schedule their own appointments in seconds. We’ve automated routine care with Patient Questionnaires for long-term conditions, while Accumail finally allows staff-to-staff communication to happen instantly across different care settings. We’re now pushing the boundaries of the consultation itself with Accurx Scribe, our AI-powered note-taker that drafts medical notes in real-time.

We’re not just shipping features. We’re giving clinicians their time back and ensuring every patient journey is as smooth as it should be.

That sounds cool - what does the office have to do with it?

In a word - EVERYTHING. Our AccuFolk are a team of 250 that focus on in-person collaboration in our Shoreditch office, and our space needs to facilitate this. From our own professional kitchen to our large events area, it's a beautiful and busy space that needs a creative Head of Workplace to own the strategy and operations here.

The challenges you’ll solve as our Head of Workplace

We don't just want an office manager; we want an expert who treats our workplace as a product. You’ll be the driving force behind our Shoreditch HQ that actually works for the people in it. From nailing the logistics of our legendary three-day summer conference to ensuring our kitchen is a sustainable powerhouse, you’ll lead a team of four to build an environment where some of the best talent in tech can solve healthcare’s biggest problems

• High-velocity operations: Owning the heartbeat of our Shoreditch HQ, ensuring every meter of the space - from our desks to meeting rooms - is optimised for a team that moves fast.

• Scaling the experience: Project managing high-impact moments, most notably our three-day summer conference, where you'll turn complex logistics into a seamless and fun team experience.

• Strategic supplier partnerships: Moving beyond the basic, you'll build and negotiate a network of external partners (hard and soft services) that can keep pace with our growth.

• Safety without the red tape: Integrating health, safety, and compliance into our workflows so they protect our team without slowing us down.

• Food as fuel: Partnering with our phenomenal in-house chefs to run a kitchen that’s not just "office perks," but a financially sustainable, high-quality operation.

• Resourceful budgeting: Treating our office spend like a founder would - tracking everything, identifying efficiencies, and ensuring we’re investing in the things that truly impact the team.

• Team coaching: Leading and levelling up a truly brilliant team of four, fostering a culture of "done is better than perfect" and relentless resourcefulness.

• You’ve been in the trenches: You’ve managed workplace operations in a fast-scaling tech environment or a high-growth startup and loved the chaos.

• You’re a driver: You don’t wait for a manual or a process - you spot a bottleneck, figure out the solution, and get it done.

• You’re commercially savvy: You’ve managed complex budgets and know how to negotiate hard with suppliers to get the best value for the business.

• You lead by example: You’re a hands-on leader who can jump between high-level strategy and helping the team fix a practical problem on the floor.

• Ambiguity is your comfort zone: When plans change (and trust us, they do), you stay calm, reorganise, and keep the team focused.

• You’re mission-first: You genuinely care about fixing healthcare communication and want to build a space that supports that mission every single day.

• £65,000 - £80,000 salary + share options up to £50,000

• Flexible Working: We are an office first culture and ask that you’re in our (dog-friendly) Shoreditch office 3 days a week, with core hours of 10am-4pm
