Teacher SEND (based within the Copsewood & other SEND provisions within the school)

About the role  

This is an exciting opportunity for an exceptional and inspirational teacher to join a dedicated, friendly, and skilled department who work collaboratively to deliver an engaging, creative and personalised curriculum. As a dynamic, motivated, and fully qualified teacher, you will bring passion, drive, and enthusiasm that makes a meaningful difference to our students' lives. You will make an immediate and positive contribution to the way our students learn, develop, and feel a sense of belonging within our school community. 
 

Your main responsibilities will include: 

  • Planning and delivering high-quality lessons that support, stretch, and inspire students of all abilities. 
  • Contributing to the development and refinement of a well-rounded and inclusive curriculum. 
  • Using a range of assessment strategies to track progress and identify areas of development misconceptions informing teaching and learning. 
  • Creating a purposeful, supportive classroom environment where students feel a sense of belonging. 
  • Collaborating with colleagues to model best practice and to continually improve the life chances of the students you work with 
  • Engaging in ongoing professional development opportunities to contribute to the development of SEND within internal provisions and the wider school. 

  

 
About You

  • Eager to work collaboratively as part of a team 
  • Creative thinkers with a nurturing approach to teaching 
  • Reflective and eager to develop professionally 
  • Able to tailor learning to meet individual needs 
  • Can deliver engaging learning using innovative methods to stimulate interest and excitement 

Experience of, and an interest in, a range of subjects including the teaching of science and mathematics is desirable, however, we welcome applications from teachers with a genuine willingness to learn.
