Unsere Gäste genießen kreative gastronomische Erlebnisse, die die Grenzen zwischen Kunst, Kultur und Gastronomie verschwimmen lassen. Tauchen Sie ein in das kulturelle Herz von Fotografiska Berlin. Unsere Café-Bar funktioniert ähnlich wie die lebendige Lobby-Bar eines Boutique-Hotels: Sie ist das pulsierende Zentrum des Hauses, ein zentraler Treffpunkt, an dem Kunst, Gastfreundschaft und Gemeinschaft auf natürliche Weise zusammenkommen. Als Café-Bar-Manager:in überwachen Sie den täglichen Betrieb und stellen gleichzeitig eine reibungslose Zusammenarbeit sowie die Abstimmung mit allen anderen Abteilungen sicher. Dieser Bereich ist ein echter Knotenpunkt – ein Treffpunkt für unsere internen Teams, ein einladender Ort für unsere Stammgäste und Museumsbesucher sowie für die vielen Anwohner:innen, die in unserer Bäckerei vorbeischauen.

Neben dem täglichen Service richtet die Café-Bar dynamische Veranstaltungen und exklusive Private-Takeovers aus, deren Organisation und Durchführung vollständig in der Verantwortung Ihrer Abteilung liegen. In dieser Rolle arbeiten Sie eng mit unseren anderen Führungskräften zusammen. Gemeinsam als zentrales Leadership-Team sorgen Sie für eine nahtlose Besetzung aller Schichten in einem 7-Tage-Betrieb von 10:00 bis 23:00 Uhr. Flexibilität ist dabei entscheidend, da Sie auch bereit sein werden, Früh- oder Spätschichten zu übernehmen, um Ihr Team beispielsweise während Urlaubszeiten zu unterstützen. Letztendlich führen Sie das Café-Bar-Team, steigern den Umsatz, optimieren Arbeitsabläufe und schaffen eine inspirierende Atmosphäre, die Fotografiskas Anspruch an Exzellenz, Nachhaltigkeit und Gemeinschaft widerspiegelt – stets mit dem Ziel, sich weiterzuentwickeln und frische, neue Impulse für unsere wunderbaren Gäste einzubringen.

Position Overview

Step into the cultural heart of Fotografiska Berlin. Our Cafe Bar functions much like the vibrant lobby bar of a boutique hotel: it is the beating heart of the building, a central gathering place where art, hospitality, and community naturally intersect. As the Cafe Bar Manager, you will oversee daily operations while ensuring seamless collaboration and liaising with all other departments. This space is a true hub, serving as a meeting spot for our internal teams to connect, as well as a welcoming haven for our regulars and museum guests and the many local neighbors who drop by our bakery.

Beyond daily service, the Cafe Bar hosts dynamic events and private buyouts, which are the sole responsibility of your department to manage and execute. In this role, you will work closely with our other supervisors. Together as a core leadership team, you will collaborate to ensure seamless coverage for every shift across a 7-day operation running from 10:00 to 23:00. Flexibility is key, as you will also be expected to step in for morning or late shifts to cover for your team during holidays. Ultimately, you will lead the cafe bar team, drive sales, optimize workflow, and create an inspiring atmosphere that upholds Fotografiska's commitment to excellence, sustainability, and community, always looking to improve and bring fresh, new initiatives to the table for our wonderful guests.
