We are looking for a Civil / Structural Engineer who will support the development of water and wastewater infrastructure projects across the region.
You will be involved during tendering and early design phases, contributing to the development of civil and structural engineering solutions that are technically sound, constructible, cost-efficient, and aligned with project delivery requirements.
In this multidisciplinary role, you work closely with process, mechanical, construction, and project teams to support coordinated engineering delivery for water and wastewater treatment facilities.
Your Contribution
- Civil & Structural Engineering
- • Review and validate civil and structural designs prepared by consultants, licensors, and EPC partners
- • Review structural calculations, challenge design assumptions, and support engineering development from concept through detailed design
- • Propose structural solutions for water and wastewater treatment facilities with focus on constructability, durability, and CAPEX optimization
- • Ensure engineering deliverables comply with applicable international standards and project requirements
- Tender & Technical Support
- • Support tender activities including BOQ preparation, cost estimation, value engineering, and pricing support
- • Contribute to technical evaluations and engineering coordination during tender and preconstruction phases
- • Support development of practical engineering solutions aligned with project objectives
- Coordination & Project Integration
- • Coordinate with process, mechanical, and construction teams to ensure integration of civil and structural works
- • Liaise with consultants, suppliers, subcontractors, and internal stakeholders to support timely and high-quality engineering deliverables
- • Provide technical support during execution phases, including design review follow-up and coordination with site teams
Your Profile
- Education & Experience
- • Degree in Civil Engineering or Structural Engineering
- • Minimum 8–10 years of experience within environmental infrastructure projects, preferably water or wastewater treatment
- • Middle East project experience is mandatory
- • Exposure to European projects or suppliers is considered an asset
- Technical Expertise
- • Strong background in civil and structural engineering related to environmental and water infrastructure projects
- • Experience with sewage treatment plants, pumping stations, clarifiers, tanks, and hydraulic structures
- • Strong knowledge of reinforced concrete design for hydraulic structures
- • Familiarity with international standards including Eurocodes, ACI, and British Standards
- • Experience with tendering, BOQ preparation, cost estimation, and value engineering
- Skills & Working Style
- • Strong analytical skills with a practical and delivery-focused engineering approach
- • Ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary project teams
- • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- • Fluent in English; Hindi or Arabic is considered an asset
