Where you’ll lead high-impact trade shows, roadshows, industry events, and integrated marketing programs that drive pipeline growth, customer engagement, and revenue across the region.
This is a dynamic role combining hands-on event leadership with strategic demand generation for the EMEA market, working closely with Sales, Product Management, Marketing Communications, and the wider EMEA Demand Generation team.
We’re looking for a highly organized, commercially minded marketer who thrives in fast-paced international environments and is passionate about delivering measurable business impact.
What you'll do:
- Lead the planning and execution of Protolabs’ EMEA trade show, roadshow, sponsorship, and event marketing programme in line with regional growth and commercial goals.
- Own the centralised EMEA event calendar, ensuring alignment across sales priorities, product launches, campaign activity, and regional marketing plans.
- Deliver end-to-end event execution, including budgeting, logistics, vendor management, travel coordination, registrations, staffing, onsite setup, and post-event reporting.
- Partner closely with Sales, Demand Generation, Product Marketing, and regional marketing teams to maximise event impact, audience targeting, customer engagement, and follow-up activity.
- Identify opportunities to strengthen Protolabs’ brand presence through speaking engagements, sponsorships, customer presentations, and industry participation.
- Support event messaging, presentations, and content development in collaboration with Product Marketing, Sales, and subject matter experts.
- Own regional demand generation activity for the UK market, delivering localised campaigns that support pipeline growth, customer acquisition, and strategic account engagement.
- Execute integrated marketing programmes across digital, email, webinars, events, ABM, and other channels to engage target audiences and drive results.
- Support full-funnel marketing activity, from acquisition and nurture through to pipeline acceleration and customer engagement.
- Track, measure, and report on event and campaign performance, using data and insights to optimise future activity and demonstrate ROI.
- Partner with Demand Generation and Revenue Operations to improve lead tracking, attribution, reporting visibility, and funnel performance.
- Manage promotional merchandise and sample programmes, including supplier relationships, inventory, fulfilment, budgeting, and reporting.
- Act as a central point of coordination for EMEA events and trade shows, ensuring smooth collaboration across internal teams, external partners, timelines, and deliverables.
- Continuously look for ways to improve marketing effectiveness, event experiences, customer engagement, and commercial impact across the region.
What it takes:
- 3–5 years of experience in B2B event marketing, field marketing, program marketing, demand generation, or project management roles.
- Proven success delivering trade shows, roadshows, sponsorships, and integrated marketing programmes across multiple regions or markets.
- Experience executing regional demand generation campaigns that support pipeline growth and commercial objectives.
- Strong project management and organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines effectively.
- Experience partnering closely with sales teams and cross-functional stakeholders in international business environments.
- Confidence using CRM systems, marketing automation platforms, spreadsheets, and Microsoft Office applications.
- Willingness and ability to travel across EMEA as needed, approximately 20–25% of the time.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills.
- A highly organised approach, with strong attention to detail and a focus on operational excellence.
- A proactive, self-motivated mindset with the ability to work independently and solve problems effectively.
- Strong commercial awareness and an understanding of how events and campaigns contribute to pipeline and revenue generation.
- The ability to thrive in fast-paced, collaborative, and evolving environments.
- An analytical mindset, with the ability to measure performance and identify opportunities for optimisation.
- A creative and solutions-focused approach to customer engagement and event experiences.
- Understanding of integrated marketing, ABM strategies, and customer lifecycle marketing.
- Familiarity with AI-enabled marketing tools, workflow automation, and modern marketing technology is a plus.
