Head Of English Department

Egypt Education Platform is seeking an experienced and visionary Head of English Department to lead and inspire our English faculty at Madinaty Language School - MLS. This leadership role offers the opportunity to shape the English curriculum, promote high standards of teaching, and foster a culture of academic excellence and continuous professional development.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead, manage, and motivate the English department team to ensure outstanding teaching and learning outcomes.
• Develop, implement, and review the English curriculum in alignment with school policies and educational standards.
• Monitor student progress and achievement across all Key Stages within the English department, and implement strategies to improve outcomes.
• Provide guidance, support, and professional development opportunities to teaching staff within the department.
• Collaborate with school leadership and other departments to ensure a cohesive and integrated educational experience.
• Manage departmental resources effectively, including budgeting and procurement.
• Promote a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages innovation, creativity, and student engagement.
• Lead departmental meetings and contribute to whole school initiatives and strategic planning.
