Your Internship Opportunity at ARC’TERYX:

As the Intern, Brand Communications – EMEA, you will support the Brand Communications team in the execution of media initiatives for the region. You will help to execute brand campaigns, experiences as well as supporting with developing brand awareness and footprint in new markets.

The positions is based in our Garching office (near Munich) and on a hybrid mode (2 days in the office, 2 days at home and 1 day at the discretion of the manager). The internship is for 6 months : starting date, as soon as possible to mid-January 2027. Candidates must be eligible to work in Germany.

The EMEA Brand Communications team works in lockstep together, as well as cross-functionally, to bring the outside in, and the inside out. We focus on telling the right story to the right audience at the right time and are constantly adapting the team’s way of working to support each other and meet our objectives. We are fiercely entrepreneurial and always rolling up our sleeves to try new things. We are focused on consumer acquisition and retention across retail, wholesale and ecommerce channels. We strive to deliver purposeful guest experience and grow the brand reach in Europe.

If you were a Brand Communications Intern now, here are some of the core activities you would be doing:

  • Draft press materials such as briefings, press lists, pitches or recaps  

  • Support the execution of media partnerships by gathering assets and shaping narratives 

  • Handle requests from media and PR agencies across Europe  

  • Support organizing media events and activations  

  • Seeding products to media, Friends of the Brand and photographers/videographers 

  • Evaluate and build regional PR reports, gathering performance data from media partners 

Here are some of the things you will learn by the end of your internship placement:

  • You will have a strong understanding of how to work cross-functionally with a centralised brand communications team 

  • You will be an expert in collecting and distributing content across internal and external stakeholders 

  • You will have experience coordinating media event planning and activation 

  • Working collectively with different marketing departments, both on the operational and strategic side

  • You are currently enrolled in a bachelor or master's program in marketing, communication, business, fashion, or other fields relevant to the position, and must complete a mandatory internship as part of your degree 

  • You are eligible to live and work in Germany 

  • You have excellent communication and interpersonal skills 

  • You are determined, pro-active, attentive and energetic 

  • You take responsibility for your tasks and projects 

  • You can work effectively in a fast-moving, multi-project environment 

  • You remain highly flexible and adaptable when faced with ambiguity 

  • You are passionate about community 

  • You have knowledge of the sports apparel industry, ideally also of Arc’teryx 

  • You stay ahead of social and digital trends, actively explore new platforms, and are you are curious about new storytelling formats 

  • You are proficient in Microsoft Office 

  • You can communicate professionally in English, other European languages are a plus 

  • Your passion for your work is paralleled by your passion for getting outside and living it
