The Opportunity

Commvault needs a product manager to help lead it’s Microsoft 365 business. The ideal candidate should be familiar with Microsoft 365 as well as M365 data protection and security. As a product manager you will be expected to work closely with the Microsoft 365 lead product manager to develop the roadmap for Commvault Cloud data protection for M365, to support sales teams in M365 data protection opportunities, to demo Commvault offerings, and to lead development of specific pieces of the M365 feature set. You will play a critical role in identify market trends and how Commvault’s Microsoft 365 data protection offering needs to evolve to meet customer needs.  You may also be asked to take on responsibility for other SaaS applications currently in the Commvault Cloud development pipeline. 

What you will do

• Work with customers, field, and our partners to identify the market trends and customer requirements that will drive our Microsoft 365 product roadmap. 

• Become a trusted advisor to the Commvault field when pursuing opportunities that include one or more components of Commvault Microsoft 365 data protection solution. 

• Help build and maintain a demo environment that can be re-created by field teams to effectively demo to customers. 

• Collaborate with the lead product manager to develop business targets for each fiscal year and assess whether we are meeting those targets. 

• Help enable our sales and presales teams on new capabilities and offerings prior to release. 

Who you are 

• 5 years of experience in engineering, product support, CSM, or product management role.   

• Bachelor or masters degree in computer science or business is a plus. 

• Understanding of core business concepts such as annual recurring revenue, churn, margin and experience building product concepts and business plans.  

• Strong written and verbal communication skills and demonstrate confidence to present in front of customers and internal executive audiences. 

• Data protection understanding.
