Our Mid-Market sales team plays a big role in how we grow. You’re working with customers who are starting to feel the strain of managing Salesforce at scale, supporting large teams.

The team is established and performing well, but there’s more to unlock. There are opportunities to raising the bar on consistency, and deliver a consistent multi-product sale. You’ll need to deliver boots on the ground coaching, sharp deal execution, and process standardisation across the full sales cycle. You’d be helping a strong group of AE turn good performance into consistent overachievement.

You’ll be refining how the team operates day to day, how we build high quality pipeline, and how we use what we’re hearing from customers to feedback to the wider business.

What’s the opportunity for a Sales Manager - Mid Market at Gearset?

  • Lead a team of Account Executives, creating clarity on expectations and supporting each individual to do their best work.

  • Own the team’s performance, with an emphasis on consistent delivery.

  • Build a strong coaching & feedback culture. You’ll spend time in calls, deal reviews, and 1:1s. You’ll give clear, practical feedback that is actionable and supports long-term goals.

  • Take responsibility for pipeline health and forecast accuracy. You’ll know where deals stand, how to move them forwards, and where support is needed.

  • Work closely with Product, Customer Success, Marketing and RevOps, sharing what you’re hearing from customers to help us improve how we sell and what we build.

  • You’ll have a team that consistently hits quota through strong fundamentals and good habits, not reliance on a few standout deals.

  • You’ll build a forecast that people trust, giving clear visibility on performance and risk.

  • You’ll drive development across the team. Stronger discovery, better qualification, and more confident deal ownership.

  • You’ll improve how the team uses Salesforce and Gong so data is accurate and genuinely useful.

  • You’ll contribute to how we evolve our commercial approach, grounded in real customer conversations.

About you

  • You’re a hands-on coach. You’re comfortable getting into the detail, listening to calls, and giving direct, useful feedback.

  • You care about the details. Activities, forecast accuracy, pipeline hygiene, and deal progression matter because they drive outcomes.

  • You’re comfortable having difficult conversations when needed, and you approach them in a way that helps people improve.

  • You understand how to run deals end to end, including pricing, negotiation, and managing risk.

  • You work well across teams and naturally share what you’re learning for the benefit of the wider business.

Nice to haves

  • Experience managing a team in Sales.

  • Familiarity with our current sales tools and processes

  • Experience working closely with Product or Customer Success to shape how we go to market.
