The Role
We’re currently on the lookout for Security Analysts to operate within our Security Operations team. This role will require you to identify and mitigate automated threats for our customers. Your experience in a similar role in a cyber security environment will be highly regarded.
This position will allow you to apply analytical skills in the fight against bad bots. You will support some of the World’s biggest companies in reducing the harm caused by automated software all while working within a collaborative and supportive environment.
What you will be doing;
- Provide moderately complex investigation and analysis of automated software within customer environments.
- Assist in providing analysis and support in incident response and threat detection.
- Use a variety of tools and capabilities to investigate and analyse automated software within customer environments.
- Collaborating with, responding and providing advice across teams within Kasada on moderately complex investigations and administrative enquiries.
What you will bring
- 3 or more years experience in cybersecurity or IT security roles.
- Familiarity and experience leveraging AI assisted analysis, agents and/or coding in your security practice.
- Experience identifying and mitigating security risks in a web environment.
- Critical and analytical mindset and proven ability to make sound judgments.
- Solid understanding of security frameworks, incident response methodologies, and threat intelligence.
- Familiarity with analytical security tools (e.g., Splunk, ElasticSearch, SQL, NoSQL databases).
- Fundamental knowledge of web technologies (TCP stack, HTTP/S, WebSockets, Browser Architectures, Operating Systems)
- Subject matter knowledge and awareness of automated cyber security attacks and/or bot groups.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CEH, Bachelors degree in a relevant field) are desirable but not required.
