As a Premier Account Manager, you’ll drive expansion and new product adoption across a portfolio of Gearset’s Premier customers. This segment sits between Executive and Scale, where customers have meaningful complexity and growth potential, but benefit most from consistent, high-quality execution rather than bespoke enterprise sales approaches.

This is a quota-carrying role focused on owning expansion outcomes within your book of business. You’ll work closely with Premier Customer Success Managers to align on account strategy and long-term growth.

You’ll manage a portfolio of around 200 accounts, requiring strong judgement, prioritisation, and the ability to run multiple opportunities in parallel without losing quality.

This role suits Account Managers looking to develop towards Strategic Account Management over time.

What’s the opportunity for a Premier Account Manager at Gearset?

  • Own expansion and new product adoption across a portfolio of Premier accounts.

  • Work closely with Premier CSMs to align on priorities, success plans, and renewal milestones.

  • Run structured discovery to understand customer needs, maturity, and growth potential.

  • Manage multiple opportunities in parallel while maintaining a consistent, high-quality approach.

  • Position additional Gearset products clearly, linking value to customer outcomes.

  • Support commercial activity around renewals in partnership with CSMs and the Renewals Manager.

  • Build strong relationships with technical and commercial stakeholders while maintaining clear pipeline visibility.

  • Increase product adoption and customer lifetime value across your portfolio.

  • Contribute to predictable, repeatable growth across a varied customer base.

  • Build the judgement and execution needed to progress into Strategic Account Management.

About you

  • Experience in a quota-carrying Account Manager or Account Executive role, with a track record of driving expansion.

  • Comfortable managing a large portfolio of accounts and prioritising effectively.

  • Strong discovery, demo, and commercial communication skills.

  • Sound commercial judgement with good attention to detail.

  • Collaborative approach, working closely with Customer Success and cross-functional teams.

Great to haves

  • Experience selling multi-product SaaS solutions or working in growth-focused sales models.

  • Familiarity with usage-led or signal-driven approaches to account prioritisation.
