About Nūmi

Nūmi is a bioproduction platform harnessing human mammary cells to produce key ingredients with proven health benefits across all stages of life. More specifically, it is the first European cultivated breast milk company aiming to produce human milk constituents to better match the ideal nutrition for babies! We are an early stage startup on the mission to revolutionize how we feed the next generation. If you want to join a fast growing, VC backed, biotech startup, Nūmi is the place for you!

What we are looking for

We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Intern in Downstream Processes to join our innovative team. This intern will play a vital role in optimising our processes for the purification and analysis of key functional ingredients. Key responsibilities

  • Participate in the development and optimisation of purification and separation processes (chromatography, membrane filtration, precipitation, etc.).
  • Perform clarification, concentration, and formulation steps.
  • Contribute to product characterisation using biochemical assays (SDS-PAGE, ELISA, Enzymatic assays…).
  • Support scale-up activities from lab to pilot scale.
  • Document experimental work and contribute to R&D reports.

As a junior member in a small startup your responsibilities will also span lab management, lab duties and helping other team members and more specifically our lab manager Julie in day to day operations!
