Description 

Working as part of the Critical Services team as an Operations Assistant supporting the local team at AVK-SEG in Thurrock, your primary responsibility is to ensure all assets are ready for hire and aligned with project and service requirements. You will be key in . This role is critical to safeguarding the long-term success and efficiency of the Load Bank Hire Division. 

Key Responsibilities 

  • Undertaking duties to support in asset preparation, including:  
  • Loading and off-loading vehicles via forklifts (16T) 
  • Movement of materials (e.g. cables) in preparation for collection 
  • Administrative duties in support of operational deliverables 
  • Working with the Head of Operations to ensure all assets are available and ready in line with business requirements for all projects and services, including key dates and technical scope.  
  • Bey a key stakeholder and trusted support for internal teams (Directors, Head of Operations, Senior Project Managers, and Service Managers). 
  • Participate in strategic planning for projects and services, ensuring all equipment is ready for hire (as well as green-carded and PDI compliant). 
  • Support the Head of Operations in the development and delivery of operational plans 
  • Provide cover outside normal working hours when required for projects and service needs.
