At Too Good To Go, we have an ambitious mission: to inspire and empower everyone to fight food waste together.
More than 1/3 of all food produced in the world is wasted. And that has a huge impact on the health of our planet. 10% of greenhouse gas emissions come from food waste and loss.
Through our marketplace app, we connect businesses that have unsold, surplus food, with consumers who can buy and enjoy it at ⅓ of retail value. We are a certified B Corporation with a mission to empower everyone to take action against food waste. Alongside our marketplace app, we create educational tools, explore new business solutions, and influence legislation to help reduce food waste.
We’re growing fast: Our community of 120 million registered users and 180,000 active partners across 21 countries, have together already saved over 500 million meals from going to waste
In 2023, Too Good To Go was recognised on Fortune's acclaimed 'Change the World' list, named as one of Deloitte's 'Best Managed Companies' and won a coveted 'Cultural Impact Award' at the annual Apple App Store Awards.
We’re looking for an exceptional Security Analyst to join the Denmark superstar team at Too Good To Go in Copenhagen.
Your mission
As our Security Analyst, you will contribute to the technical "engine room" of our security operation. Your mission is to transform raw security signals into actionable intelligence. Reporting to the global Information Security Officer (ISO), you will manage the daily operational triage, ensure our vulnerability window remains small, and build technical playbooks that protect our 120 million users. You are the bridge between our security tooling and the engineering teams, determined to keep Too Good To Go resilient. Your engineering mindset will deliver high quality results.
Your role
- Operational Triage: Act as the primary point of contact for incoming security signals, including Bug Bounty submissions, phishing reports, and real-time escalations from our EDR.
- Vulnerability and Patch Management: Proactively monitor scanner outputs and collaborate with engineering squads to ensure critical patches are applied within our defined SLAs.
- Secure Coding Advocacy: Empower our developers by managing secure coding training sessions, helping to integrate security best practices directly into the product lifecycle.
- Documentation & Playbooks: Draft and maintain Standard Operating Procedures and playbooks required for global compliance and insurance standards.
- IT & DevOps Collaboration: Work as a dedicated partner to our IT and DevOps teams—your closest allies—to harden our tech stack and automate response workflows.
Requirements
- Security Mindset: You are a problem solver who is relentless about getting to the root cause of an issue.
- Technical tools: Hands-on experience with security platforms (SIEM, EDR, MDR, Bug Bounty programs, Email Security)
- Incident Response: Proven experience navigating incident response processes and managing "First Response" windows.
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal skills, with the ability to produce clear technical documentation and playbooks.
- Curiosity: You stay current with industry trends, emerging threats, and security technologies to enhance the organization’s security posture.
- Scale-up Ready: You are excited about improving operational security in a fast-scaling environment, moving from manual toil to automated engineering.
Our values:
- We Win Together
- We Raise the Bar
- We Keep It Simple
- We Build A Legacy
- We Care
