Role Impact

Develop the commercial strategy for the territories/accounts assigned, then leverage to build strategic relationships across retail/distributor market ensuring delivery of market share & profitability growth. You will work with cross functional teams to ensure ZURU is capturing or over-indexing its Share of Shelf vs competitors, working closely with commercial, marketing teams to achieve distribution goals and maximize performance at shelf. You will need to create and/or redefine processes to make sure the goals are achieved. You will be able to work and deliver results while working as part of a cross-functional team across different time zones.

Roles & Responsibilities

  • You will be responsible for driving sales and maximizing product mix to achieve financial goals for ZURU Toys Latin America

  • Devise the country/account commercial strategy and influence GM LATAM & cross-functional adoption to secure the tools, products and support you need to drive your business & win in.

  • Ownership and accountability of direct key accounts with responsibility of building long term alignment to enable delivery of mutually aligned strategic & financial goals.

  • Lead cross-functional business teams to drive over achievement against customer sales performance.

  • Constantly add value by developing and improving commercial processes to improve performance and drive efficiencies. Base decisions on data and create the tools needed.

  • Embrace a culture that supports achievement of record breaking market disruption and rapid growth whilst resolving business issues, building relationships and influencing broader capability development.

Skills & Experience

  • Proven track record of at least 5+ years in sales, business development or commercial leadership roles within the toys industry or categories with clear seasonality and/or entrepreneurial environment.

  • Sales experience of +5 years.

  • Toys experience and strong relationships with stakeholders in Brazil is a big plus.

  • Experience managing retailers and distributors with proven record of business development. Ideally in negotiations based on P&L and mid-term scope.

  • Strong commercial & business acumen, strategic thinking and problem-solving capability.

  • Strong communication & influencing skills, with the ability to translate messages across a variety of internal and external stakeholders.

  • Must have strong leadership capability Including the ability to influence and motivate cross-functional teams, while holding stakeholders accountable to deliver on business objectives.

  • Bachelor’s degree

  • Availability to travel 2-4 times per year to the market and to attend industry fairs.

  • Please note: this is a full-time position that must be based in Brazil.
