Role Overview

The Voice Acting Operations Coordinator will manage and optimize the voice acting processes for our multimedia comic productions. The ideal candidate will act as the primary liaison between voice actors and our production team, ensuring the delivery of high-quality voice recordings that align with our stringent production timelines.

Key Responsibilities
  • Serve as the main point of contact for voice actors, ensuring clear and effective communication between voice actors and the Story Producers.

  • Coordinate and oversee the recording process to ensure high-quality voice outputs are achieved and integrated seamlessly into our productions.

  • Perform quality control checks on voice recordings, providing detailed feedback on pronunciation, intonation, and other vocal attributes

  • Source and recruit suitable voice actors in Ho Chi Minh City or abroad for StoryCo’s projects, managing auditions and selection processes

  • Facilitate necessary re-recording sessions and missing line requests to meet production deadlines

  • Research and implement cutting-edge voice modification technologies (e.g. Eleven Labs) to transform raw voice files into character-specific voices.

  • Develop and maintain operational procedures for managing voice recording and generation tasks.

Skills and Requirements
  • Exceptional command of English, both spoken and written, with the ability to perform voice recordings when needed (IELTS >7.5 or equivalent preferred)

  • 2+ years of experience in dubbing, localization, or audio related field

  • Proven experience working with voice actors and in recording studio environments.

  • Strong planning and project management skills with meticulous attention to detail.

  • Excellent communication and coordination skills, capable of managing communication between large groups.

  • A passion for comics, anime, and manga is highly desirable.

  • Proficiency in using recording software and at least one Digital Audio Workstation (DAW).

Working Conditions / Terms
  • Employment Type: Full-time

  • Location: On-site at 177 Hai Ba Trung, Xuan Hoa Ward, Ho Chi Minh City

  • Working Hours: 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM (GMT+7), Monday through Friday with flexible working hours

  • Equipment: Employees are expected to work on their own professional-grade computer and hardware. Company-provided equipment may be arranged based on needs.
