POSITION OVERVIEW

We are seeking a skilled Data Architect to design, optimize, and scale our data and reporting layers. This role is also open to contractors. You will focus on building a robust SQL-based data warehouse, improving data models for business intelligence, and leveraging Microsoft Fabric to create efficient, reliable data pipelines. The ideal candidate has experience working with Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) data and understands the nuances of sales, distribution, retail, and customer analytics.

This role requires 4 days on site collaboration per week. You must be able to commute to our West 22nd Street office in New York.

RESPONSIBILITIES 

    • Design and optimize data architecture to support scalable, high-performance reporting and analytics 
    • Develop and maintain SQL-based data warehouse structures 
    • Improve and standardize data models used for BI and reporting tools 
    • Build and manage data pipelines using Microsoft Fabric 
    • Ensure data quality, consistency, and governance across reporting layers 
    • Collaborate with business and analytics teams to translate requirements into efficient data solutions 
    • Identify performance bottlenecks and implement improvements in data storage and query performance 
    • Document data models, architecture, and processes
