💼 What You’ll Do

We’re looking for a proactive and technically minded Assistant Facilities Manager (AFM) to support the delivery of hard services across our Workspaces.

This is a hands‑on, mobile role where confident coordination and stakeholder management are essential. You will support the Senior Facilities Manager and Technical Services Lead as a key link between sites, contractors, and you’ll play an important part in improving service delivery, maintaining high operational standards, and helping us create the best possible workplace environments. 

This is an excellent opportunity for someone eager to learn, develop, and build a long-term career in facilities management and building services.

Your day‑to‑day will include:

Facilities & Compliance Support

  • Support the creation, monitoring, and improvement of facilities-related policies and Health & Safety arrangements.
  • Assist with the population and maintenance of essential site documentation.
  • Act as a liaison between building teams, contractors, and the Senior Facilities Manager to ensure clear communication and timely issue resolution.

Surveys, Audits & Standards

  • Conduct building surveys and audits to ensure compliance with government legislation and internal FM standards.
  • Assist in tracking and managing contractor performance against agreed requirements.

Health & Safety

  • Provide support to the Health & Safety Manager, including project assistance and helping manage risk assessment actions.
  • Help ensure all sites maintain a safe and compliant environment for members and employees.

Administration & Project Support

  • Carry out administrative tasks to support the wider FM function.
  • Contribute to ad‑hoc project-based work, including building services upgrades and operational improvements.
