The Role
- Support in the development and execution of a high-quality pastry concept for the Bakery, Café, Verōnika Restaurant & Bar, as well as for in-house events
- Close collaboration with the Head Pastry Chef and Pastry Sous Chef to ensure the overall success of the pastry program
- Planning and responsibility for the preparation of desserts, pastries, cakes, ice creams and sorbets, doughs, breads, rolls, and chocolates
- Ensuring smooth kitchen operations during peak service and production hours, including independent setup of the bakery station and preperation of coffee breaks
- Maintaining consistently high quality and presentation standards for all pastry products
- Supporting and guiding other team members in following recipes, portion sizes, and preparation standards
- Monitoring raw materials, ensuring recipe compliance, and minimizing food waste
- Ensuring compliance with all health, safety, and HACCP-standards
- Organization, cleaning, and sanitization of the pastry work area
- Actively contributing to the improvement and development of systems and processes to enhance service, team engagement, and the overall Fotografiska guest experience
