We are looking for an experienced Project Manager to join our Private Sector consultancy team in Bristol! This exciting role will provide you with an opportunity to work alongside a global tech client, supporting a major development for the Bristol region. Get hands on experience of innovative construction methods joining the construction phase of a complex and large scale project close to the City centre.

About the role

At Fulkers Bailey Russell, we pride ourselves on providing a supportive and ambitious environment for our employees. In this role, you will be responsible for managing construction projects from outset to completion, on all aspects of the project life cycle. You will be working collaboratively with a varied team of construction professionals and stakeholders to allow projects to be delivered safely on time, and to budget whilst ensuring high levels of client satisfaction. Work one a hybrid basis from our Bristol office and enjoy getting immersed in a busy construction site.

  • Manage projects of varied size and complexity, undertaking the day-to-day project activities of a Project Manager
  • Support in identifying the project Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s)
  • Produce and undertake project governance
  • Support in producing the procurement strategy report with the client and quantity surveyors
  • Negotiations with contractors to establish budgets and programmes
  • Manage and support the project team on snagging inspections
  • Maintain and support good client working relationships acting a main point of contact for queries, as necessary
  • Undertake reviews of lessons learnt, implementing changes for future improvements
  • Ensure internal systems are kept updates e.g. finance and resource trackers and timely sign off of invoices
  • Internal governance such a reviews of flash reports and senior signatories on approved documents
  • Working collaboratively with other consultants
  • Observe Health & Safety provision in the working environment and CDM 2015 regulations including escalating any HSE issues
  • Endeavour to improve our social and environmental impact
