We Are Social is seeking an Account Manager/Project Manager to join our growing team! Your mission is to transition from supporting tasks to owning day-to-day client relationships. You ensure every interaction is strategic, every budget is precise, and every deadline is met with excellence. You work to help the team optimize workflow and financial reporting by incorporating new AI initiatives.

Traditional agency experience is not required, but it’s a plus. What matters is your deep understanding of what resonates with social audiences. This role is energetic, innovative and forward-thinking. Alongside engaging with communities, you’ll guide brands by staying ahead of social trends and cultural moments. In return, you’ll join a global agency dedicated to generating buzzworthy ideas for some of the world’s leading brands.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Lead day-to-day interactions to ensure client satisfaction while serving as the reliable point of contact for both clients and internal teams
- Conduct and support regular client meetings, status updates, and progress reports, keeping stakeholders informed on campaign performance, results, and future initiatives
- Manage a multi-agency IAT including: Influencer/creator, media and above the line creative agencies
- Support in the ideation, creation, planning and execution of specific client programs
- Provide internal and client teams with meeting recaps and next steps
- Draft client-facing correspondences to share with senior account management team members
- Act as the voice of the client for internal reviews
- Procure and acquire specific information from clients as needed
- Have a clear understanding of the client’s organizational structure and contacts
- Manage workflows for items such as asset approval & delivery, development of strategic & executional presentations, and vendor management
- Manage and organize a high volume of assets (150-300 / mo.) 2-4 projects simultaneously
- Be available to answer ad hoc team or client requests in a timely manner
- Utilize a project management platform to organize internal team tasks and milestones
- Follow and stay on top of pop-culture and industry trends
REQUIREMENTS FOR THIS ROLE
- 1-2 years in an account or project management role or similar preferably within a creative advertising agency working on paid media assets.
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, advertising, communications, or a related field
- Passion for culture - to be apart of it, shape it and create it
- Ability to work effectively with management of all levels
- Ability to build timelines that account for external agency dependencies (AOR/Media) while protecting internal social-speed.
- Track record of contributing to client planning & asset management
- Experience working with media agencies for asset trafficking
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with an eye for detail in client-facing correspondence
- Ability to complete multiple duties with accuracy shifting from one to another with frequent interruptions and competing deadlines
- Demonstrate flexibility and willingness to take on tasks outside the area of assigned responsibilities
- Self-motivated with strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to work independently and effectively set priorities and deliver on time
- Understanding of Google Suite, Slack, and A.I. tools and functions. Added plus: Knowledge of Project Management Tools like Asana
