Join us as an Assistant Manager, DevOps and lead our cloud infrastructure and DevOps operations. Oversee cloud environments to ensure performance, security, and scalability, while guiding a skilled team toward operational excellence.
The Job:
1. DevOps Architecture & CI/CD Leadership
- Lead the design and optimisation of CI/CD pipelines to support efficient code integration, testing, and deployment.
- Define best practices for automated build, release, and deployment processes across development teams.
- Oversee reliable code delivery across development, staging, and production environments.
2. Infrastructure Automation & Cloud Platform Management
- Lead infrastructure automation using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or similar.
- Manage and optimise cloud infrastructure across AWS environments and container orchestration platforms (Kubernetes – EKS/ECS).
- Continuously improve infrastructure architecture, scalability, and automation practices.
3. Monitoring, Reliability & Performance Optimisation
- Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting systems to ensure high platform availability and operational visibility.
- Drive performance optimisation across applications and infrastructure to support scalable SaaS environments.
- Lead troubleshooting of complex infrastructure, deployment, and performance issues.
4. Security & Operational Governance
- Integrate security best practices into infrastructure design and deployment pipelines.
- Ensure infrastructure and deployment processes align with security and compliance requirements.
- Support security reviews, audits, and operational risk mitigation.
5. Cross-Functional Engineering Collaboration
- Collaborate closely with software engineering, QA, product, and operations teams to deliver reliable infrastructure solutions.
- Provide DevOps expertise during system architecture discussions and technical planning.
- Promote DevOps best practices across engineering teams.
6. DevOps Leadership & Knowledge Sharing
- Mentor DevOps engineers and support their technical development.
- Establish standards for infrastructure documentation, deployment workflows, and operational processes.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across engineering and platform operations.
