Garage Data Systems (GDS), part of the ClearCourse group, is looking for a driven Business Development Manager to help grow our garage management software and integrated payments solutions across the UK and Ireland.
This is a new business focused role where you’ll be responsible for winning new customers, developing relationships across the automotive aftermarket, and helping independent garages modernise the way they operate through technology.
You’ll be selling a combination of garage management software, cloud-based solutions, and integrated payments products to garage owners, workshop managers, and independent repair centres. The role will suit someone who enjoys consultative, solution-led sales and is comfortable building relationships face-to-face as well as over the phone.
We’re looking for someone proactive, commercially driven, and confident managing the full sales cycle from prospecting through to close. Experience within automotive software, SaaS, payments, or the wider aftermarket sector would be highly beneficial.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Winning new business across independent garages and workshop groups
- Building strong relationships with garage owners and key decision makers
- Conducting outbound prospecting and cold outreach activity
- Delivering tailored product demonstrations both remotely and in person
- Promoting GDS software solutions alongside Garage Pay integrated payments
- Managing a healthy sales pipeline and accurately forecasting activity through CRM
- Attending customer meetings, trade shows, and industry events across the UK and Ireland
- Working closely with internal onboarding, support, and marketing teams
- Identifying upsell opportunities including cloud upgrades and additional services
- Becoming a trusted advisor within the automotive aftermarket space
