We’re looking for a Clinical Pharmacist who wants their work to mean something—someone who brings care, accountability, and purpose to what they do every day.

Schedule & Location

Location: Onsite – Las Vegas, Nevada

Schedule:

  • Monday through Friday, 10:00 AM – 6:30 PM PST
  • Weekend and holiday coverage as needed, 8:00 AM – 6:30 PM PST
  • Participation in on-call rotation as determined by pharmacy leadership

Required: Active, unrestricted Nevada, California, and Texas Pharmacist license

What You'll Do

Responsibilities include:

  • Review, interpret, and verify prescriptions to ensure accuracy, appropriateness, and compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Evaluate patient records and medication regimens to support safe and effective specialty therapy management
  • Provide comprehensive patient counseling and education regarding specialty medications and treatment plans
  • Monitor drug therapies, identify potential therapeutic issues, and recommend clinical interventions when appropriate
  • Collaborate closely with Intake, Referral Services, Reimbursement, Managed Markets, Nursing, Clinical Services, and Pharmacy Operations teams to support seamless patient care
  • Support onboarding and referral processes to help patients access therapy as efficiently as possible
  • Oversee pharmacy technician activities and documentation to ensure quality, compliance, and operational excellence
  • Maintain compliance with State Board of Pharmacy regulations, HIPAA, FDA, DEA, Medicare, ACHC, URAC, OSHA, and other applicable standards
  • Serve as a clinical escalation point for prescription, medication, and patient care concerns
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives, audits, accreditation activities, and performance improvement efforts
  • Support training and development of pharmacy technicians, interns, and new team members
  • Contribute to a culture of safety, accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement

What We're Looking For

Required Qualifications

  • Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) or Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy from an ACPE-accredited School of Pharmacy
  • Active, unrestricted Pharmacist license in the state of Nevada
  • Strong understanding of specialty medications and specialty pharmacy operations
  • Experience providing exceptional service to both internal and external customers
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Strong clinical judgment, attention to detail, and commitment to patient safety

Preferred Qualifications

  • Three (3)+ years of experience in Specialty Pharmacy, Infusion Pharmacy, Home Infusion, Retail, Community, Mail-Order, or Hospital Pharmacy
  • Three (3)+ years of experience working collaboratively with pharmacy technicians and multidisciplinary healthcare teams
  • One (1)+ year of experience supporting specialty pharmacy service operations
  • Knowledge of specialty therapy payer requirements, reimbursement processes, and contract obligations
  • Certification in Good Clinical Practices (GCP)
  • Experience with CareTend or similar pharmacy management platforms
