This is your chance to play a key role in shaping and guiding our diverse events portfolio, helping us bring to life our vision of a world where nature and people thrive.
As an Events Committee member, you'll engage in a wide range of activities that drive our events strategy, such as:
- Choosing venues, plenary speakers, thematic sessions, and workshops for the Annual Meeting
- A chance to join a sub-group that oversees the main conference programming
- Evaluating registration fees, budgets, and policies related to BES events
- Selecting symposia proposals through an open call and managing their budgets
- Reviewing the annual plans and budgets for our Special Interest Groups
