About the Role
We have an exciting opportunity for a Frontend Developer to join our Tech team. In this role, you will work on the frontend of our football products. This includes the 433 app, interactive screens, football content, video, feeds, match information, notifications, and new features for fans all over the world.
Key Responsibilities
Developing mobile interfaces in Flutter
Building smooth, clear, and fast user flows
Improving user experience
Optimizing app performance
Collaborating with backend developers, designers, content teams, and product owners
Contributing ideas around navigation, interaction, and visual feedback
Analyzing why something feels slow, unclear, or unintuitive
Building features that must continue to perform during major football moments
What We’re Looking For
We’re looking for someone who sees beyond “the screen is there.” Someone with a strong sense of interaction, timing, performance, and detail.
You have experience with:
Flutter and Dart
Mobile app development for iOS and Android
State management
API integrations
Performance optimization in mobile apps
Responsive layouts and different screen sizes
Git and modern development workflows
Experience:
Analytics, A/B testing, video, caching, push notifications, or high-traffic apps is a plus.
Marketing tools: Segment, Airship or Branch.io is a plus
Who You Are:
As a Frontend Developer at 433, you are:
Goal-oriented, determined, and passionate about social media.
Enjoy football, or at least understand that timing is everything in football
Comfortable in a dynamic and ambitious scale-up environment.
Educated to a minimum of HBO level in a software engineering, ICT or communication and multimedia design field.
Experienced, with at least 2+ years as a Developer (incl. Flutter experience).
Fluent in English, with excellent communication skills, Dutch is a plus.
Lives in the Amsterdam area and is able to come to the office once a week.
An innovative and proactive team player.
Understand that an app shouldn’t just work, but should feel good to use.
Take performance seriously.
Have an eye for detail without getting lost in pixel-perfect discussions.
See user experience as part of engineering.
Prefer measuring over guessing.
Understand that football moments create traffic peaks
Like clear and practical solutions.
Get energy from products used by large audiences.
