At Tilt, we see a side of people that traditional lenders miss. Our mobile-first products and machine learning-powered credit models look beyond credit scores, using over 250 real-time financial signals to recognize real potential. With millions of customers worldwide, we're not just changing how people access financial products — we're creating a new credit system that backs the working, whatever they're working toward.
The Opportunity: Head of Marketing, Cashalo
Cashalo is a leading fintech in the Philippines, offering credit and financial services to underserved customers. It is part of the Tilt group. As Head of Marketing, you'll own the full marketing function - brand, performance, and lifecycle - with real budget accountability and the mandate to drive growth.
Lifecycle is near-blank, brand is under-measured, and performance has clear upside through smarter channel diversification and creative testing. This is a chance to build an AI-native marketing function from scratch, in a market that doesn't borrow easily from elsewhere.
This is an APAC based role (Philippines, Singapore, Australia, India). Our preference is to have someone based in Manila to work in the office twice a week with the team. If you're based anywhere else in APAC, you'll need to travel 4-6 times/year to Manila.
How You'll Make an Impact
Own the Full Marketing Function: Lead brand, performance, and lifecycle as an integrated strategy - not as three separate mandates. Today the team heavily focuses on performance marketing; you'll remain focused on that, while bringing brand and lifecycle up to parity in time.
Drive Performance Marketing Sophistication: Allocate the acquisition budget across channels with rigour - proper attribution, event-based optimisation, and ROAS discipline. Push well beyond the current channel mix through meaningful creative testing and experimentation.
Build the Brand from the Ground Up: Define Cashalo's brand philosophy - voice, visual identity, awareness strategy - and put in place the measurement infrastructure (social listening, organic search, brand surveys) that's almost entirely absent today.
Stand Up Lifecycle Marketing: Build Cashalo's lifecycle capability from near-zero. Partner closely with the engineering team to define what's needed - triggered campaigns across email, SMS, Viber, push, and in-app - and own the strategy that runs on top of it.
Run a Small, Leveraged Team: Lead a tight, high-output team that uses AI for creative production, budget allocation, and analytics rather than defaulting to headcount growth. Build the model for what a modern, AI-native marketing function looks like.
Why You're a Great Fit
8+ years in marketing, with hands-on performance marketing experience earlier in your career - you've personally run campaigns, not just overseen them
You've had real budget accountability: your name on spend decisions, not just advisory input
Strong quantitative fluency - ROAS, CAC, LTV, attribution models, and AB test design (sample size, statistical significance) are second nature
Consumer marketing background - you've run acquisition for a consumer-facing business, not B2B
Familiarity with CRM and lifecycle tooling (Iterable or equivalent); you know what good looks like even if you weren't the one building it
You hold both halves of marketing at once: analytical rigour and creative judgment — and you're honest about where your edge sits
An AI-native mindset - you see AI as a force multiplier for your team's output, not a threat to headcount
