Nurse Manager – Intensive Care Unit (ICU)

A leading healthcare organization in Southern Florida is seeking an experienced Nurse Manager – ICU to lead a high-acuity intensive care unit caring for critically ill adult patients. This leadership role is responsible for ICU operations, clinical oversight, staff development, patient care coordination, and driving quality outcomes within a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide day-to-day leadership and oversight of ICU operations
  • Support and mentor nursing staff while promoting clinical excellence
  • Ensure high standards of patient care, safety, and regulatory compliance
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes
  • Lead staffing, scheduling, performance management, and quality initiatives
  • Foster a positive and accountable team culture

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years of recent ICU clinical experience required
  • Minimum 3 years of recent ICU leadership or management experience required
  • BSN required
  • Active RN license required
  • Current BLS certification required
  • Preferred: CCRN certification
  • Preferred: Experience in high-acuity ICU environments
