As an Occupational Therapist at Aaron School, you'll support students in building the skills they need to succeed academically and in daily life. You will provide individualized and group services that promote independence, self-regulation, and confidence in a supportive, student-centered environment.

What You'll Need

  • Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program and active NYS certification

  • Experience working with students with learning differences, sensory needs, or social-emotional challenges

  • Ability to manage a caseload and balance individual and group services effectively

  • Strong communication skills with a collaborative and team-oriented approach

  • Flexible and organized with the ability to adapt to a dynamic school environment

What You'll Do

  • Provide occupational therapy services through individual and group sessions based on student needs

  • Conduct information assessments and share insights with team members and families

  • Collaborate with teachers and clinicians to support student goals and classroom success

  • Develop and document therapeutic goals, progress reports, and required student records

  • Support students with adaptive equipment, life skills, and self-regulation strategies
