We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Product Designer to join our team. As a key member of our design team, you will collaborate closely with product managers, developers, and other stakeholders to craft intuitive, elegant, and impactful user experiences. We're looking for individuals with a well-rounded understanding of the entire product design process. Research, wireframing, prototyping, UX/UI design, copywriting, and user testing are just some of the skills you leverage when crafting great experiences. The ideal candidate will have played this role for 5+ years and thrive in a highly collaborative environment of cross-functional team members. 
 
Partnering with your teammates, you will turn your qualitative and quantitative insights into valuable solutions that excel in both form and function. Your work will take place in a strategic environment that requires the ability to conceive, communicate, and execute a creative vision and will hone your existing design leadership skills. 

Responsibilities

  • Be an effective collaborator with cross-functional teams, thinking critically, and offering creative and effective solutions to problems.
  • Provide design leadership to align a group around a shared vision and direction including workshop facilitation.
  • Advocate for the user by championing a user-centered design approach and best practices.
  • Set design requirements based on information from internal teams and user research.
  • Present your designed solutions to your team and/or client stakeholders and facilitate constructive feedback and iteration.
  • Refine and deliver your designs at high-fidelity, considering the details and interactions surrounding the experience.
  • Support and lead user research efforts as part of the design process. Plan and conduct tests for your designs. Compile and present insights from test results
  • Create and maintain design guidelines/systems/standards.
  • Ensure that design materials meet accessibility standards and are compliant with industry regulations.
  • Identify opportunities for product or feature enhancements.
  • Remain up to date on industry trends, market conditions, and consumer preferences.

Required skills:

  • Professional experience as a Product Designer, UX/UI Designer, or a similar role.
  • Software:Proficiency in design and collaboration tools such as Figma, FigJam, Miro, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar.
  • Research: Strong knowledge of user research methods and ability to conduct usability testing and present research insights.
  • Collaboration: Excellent facilitation and collaboration skills, with experience working in agile or cross-functional teams.
  • Communication: Fluent in English, with exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with a strong ability to gather and interpret project objectives and design requirements.
  • Strategic: Ability to identify needs, think critically, convey ideas, and align a team around a vision.
  • Self-Management: Strong ability to manage time, priorities, and estimate design delivery.
  • Portfolio:A well-rounded product design portfolio with result-driven case studies.

Nice to have skills:

  • Experience leveraging AI tools for ideation, facilitation, research, and design.
  • Familiarity with front-end development principles (e.g., HTML, CSS, JavaScript).
  • Knowledge of accessibility standards and inclusive design practices.
  • Prior experience mentoring or leading other designers.
  • Systems thinking and service design experience.
  • An entrepreneurial mindset.
