About the role

 

We have an opportunity for a maternity cover contract for an experienced Project Manager to join our team.

The purpose of this role is to project manage business improvement and transformational activities across key ARO processes including Prospect to Order and Service Management, and to ensure that the planned benefits associated with those enhancements are delivered to the business. Enhancements may be platform and process optimisations, or integrations of business areas not currently utilising group ARO platforms.

The role exists to ensure projects can be delivered effectively both on time and to the quality required, all tasks key to the projects success are identified and managed, and ensuring all stakeholders are successfully engaged.

Ultimately we want those impacted by the project to view the transformation positively, and to achieve the goals are achieved for the business.

Please note that this is a Hybrid role with onsite requirement 3 days a week. You must be able to commute to the office and have your own transport.

 

What you’ll do

 

Initiation

  • Completes project initiation planning and documentation which defines and baselines: Planned benefits, scope, deliverables/quality, milestones, schedule, cost, risk, resources, contingency and project communication.
  • Able to complete project kick-offs with stakeholder groups, clearly articulating the key project elements.
  • Obtains stakeholder approval and commitment on tasks.
  • Ensures project documentation is maintained

Delivery

  • Establishes and leads project teams with agreed-upon roles and responsibilities
  • Delivers projects to contracted service levels, ensures customer satisfaction and to budget ( where applicable)
  • Monitor and document project progress to ensure on-time delivery
  • Tracks and assesses project risk and formulates mitigating contingency plan
  • Develops, monitors, and updates the project cash flow and financial forecasts (where applicable)
  • Adheres to quality standards, reviews project deliverables, and communicates variances accordingly.
  • Manages major changes, such as scope, via change control with project sponsor approval.
  • Identifies project performance issues, analyzes, and addresses them in a timely manner
  • Communicates project status on a regular weekly and monthly basis to all stakeholders
  • Manages dates, operations, tasks, and scheduling in project management tool such as Monday.com.
  • Manages the integration of vendor tasks e.g. PoPx and tracks and reviews vendor deliverables
  • Manage project-related financial processes, including purchase orders, invoicing, and budgeting (where applicable)
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills within multiple complex environments and teams who may have diverse viewpoints and needs.
  • Ability to understand and follow business processes and standards.
  • Defines stage boundary criteria e.g. “go / no-go”
  • Completes stage boundary reviews with team and stakeholders.

Closure

  • Completes lessons learned and documents outcomes for future project rollouts.
