About The Role

The Proposal Writer will work within Valinor’s Growth team to support business development for Valinor’s entire portfolio of product companies. They will play a critical role in securing new business by managing and developing compelling content throughout the capture lifecycle. They will also aid in the development and maintenance of business infrastructure that drives efficiencies and smart decision-making.

What You'll Do

  • Manage and co-develop RFX responses, white papers, slide decks, and other munitions in support of business growth for the portfolio of product companies

  • Support business opportunity monitoring and qualification efforts

  • Develop and/or maintain templates and other resources that streamline and amplify Capture team day-to-day work

  • Work with subject matter experts to develop RFX response content, identify gaps in solution, and strategize how to fill gaps to achieve a compelling and compliant narrative

  • Work with Capture & Proposals Lead on capture and knowledge management infrastructure and process, including content libraries and pipeline tracking

What We're Looking For

  • At least 2 years’ experience in U.S. Federal government capture and/or proposals

  • Strong core writing skills, with the ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly

  • Familiarity with U.S. Government contracting, including opportunity portals like SAM.GOV

  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to balance multiple concurrent efforts, keep teams on task, anticipate risks, and achieve high-quality deliverables ahead of internal/Government deadlines

  • Strong organizational skills, with the ability to analyze how information is stored, accessed, and used across the team and drive infrastructure and process to optimize knowledge management

  • High degree of autonomy and drive for problem-solving
