A Career with Point72's Regulatory Reporting Team

The Regulatory Reporting team provides governance across all regulatory filings and related obligations globally. The team is responsible for report preparation, generating and coordinating responses for large cross-departmental filings, oversight of technology supporting regulatory filings, identification and implementation of automation opportunities, and administering data standards. Regulators include but are not limited to the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC), National Futures Association (NFA), Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS), Financial Conduct Authority (FCA), Securities and Futures Commission (SFC), and Kanto Finance Bureau (KFB).

WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • Assist with building and scaling the firm's regulatory reporting controls and processes to ensure timely, accurate, and auditable filings
  • Lead preparation, validation, and submission support for regulatory filings to U.S. and international securities and derivatives regulators
  • Develop and execute data reconciliations, position and transaction monitoring checks, and exception investigations to maintain reporting accuracy
  • Partner with compliance, legal, finance, risk, technology, and trading teams to document requirements, map workflows, and create control evidence
  • Develop automated solutions and reporting tools by working with technologists and leveraging data tools to reduce manual effort and increase reliability
  • Maintain and enhance regulatory reporting databases, documentation, and submission trackers to support auditability and process transparency
  • Respond to regulatory inquiries and produce clear, data-driven analyses and responses for internal and external stakeholders
  • Analyze upcoming regulatory changes, assess operational impact, and translate requirements into practical process changes
  • Own assigned projects and process improvements, deliver results on deadlines, and build subject-matter expertise in regulatory reporting

WHAT'S REQUIRED

  • 0-2 years of professional experience in regulatory reporting, operations, compliance, accounting, or a related function at a financial institution
  • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, economics, business, data analytics, or a related field
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including formulas, pivot tables, and data manipulation
  • Strong attention to detail, with a highly organized and process-driven approach to work
  • Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to reconcile complex data sets
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to partner effectively across multiple teams
  • Commitment to the highest ethical standards

The annual base salary is $90,000 - $100,000 (USD) which will be prorated based on internship start and end date.
