About the Position

We are looking for an experienced accountant to join our Financial Reporting team. In this role, you will primarily maintain the books and records for our APAC businesses and work with our regional and global accounting teams to review monthly and annual financial statements.

Additional responsibilities of the role will include:

  • Reviewing various accounting reconciliations and financial schedules that support the financial statements
  • Collaborating with outside auditors and advisors on accounting policy decisions, GAAP interpretations and internal control documentation and decisions
  • Working closely with other team members, including members of our accounting-specific technology team, to improve processes and ensure the team’s goals are met

About You

  • Have a bachelor’s degree and are a qualified accountant with relevant accountancy credentials
  • Have 10+ years of experience in an accounting role (a mix of private and public preferred), including experience with reviewing financial statements and account reconciliations
  • Familiar with the relevant regulatory regimes and have in-depth knowledge of either US GAAP or IFRS, as well as a comprehensive understanding of financial statements and legal entity reporting 
  • Able to research and interpret relevant/complex accounting literature; experienced in the preparation of technical accounting papers
  • Self-motivated to improve processes where possible
  • Organised with great communication skills; able to build strong collaborative relationships across various groups within the firm
  • Have excellent time management skills; able to handle competing priorities and work effectively in a challenging, fast-paced environment
  • A strong analytical and critical thinker; detail-oriented with a “can-do” attitude when resolving issues
  • Proficient with Microsoft Excel
  • Having experience with accounting and reporting using Workday is a plus 
  • Fluent in English
