Qumulo's cloud data platform manages exabytes of the world's most demanding data, unifying files, objects, and every workload across edge, core, and cloud.

About the Position:

As Strategic Account Manager you will own and grow a set of high-value enterprise accounts within the Media & Entertainment vertical, with a primary focus on major media, broadcast, and sports organizations on the East Coast.

Our ideal candidate will have deep experience selling into broadcast or production environments. You'll understand how content moves from capture through ingest, editorial, graphics, transcoding, playout, and archive, and can hear the storage opportunity inside every conversation about a facility buildout, an IP migration, a workflow redesign, or a cloud/hybrid production strategy.

You will actively grow our business in the region, engage directly with C- and VP level stakeholders, lead account strategy, and deliver customer outcomes that drive Qumulo's long-term growth.

Responsibilities:

  • Own and exceed revenue targets across a defined set of strategic enterprise accounts within the Media & Entertainment vertical, primarily based in the New York region.

  • Develop and execute comprehensive account plans, including expansion and retention strategies

  • Build and maintain executive-level relationships (CIO, CTO, VP-level) in the media, broadcast, and sports verticals

  • Drive complex, multi-threaded sales cycles involving OEMs, resellers, and cloud partners

  • Partner with Product and Engineering to align customer needs with roadmap and innovation

  • Lead joint account planning with partners and customers to identify growth opportunities

  • Execute account-based marketing (ABM) strategies in collaboration with marketing

  • Provide accurate forecasting and pipeline management

Qualifications:

  • 7+ years of enterprise sales experience selling complex technology (software, hardware/software, or infrastructure solutions) into broadcast, live production, post-production, or media and entertainment customers

  • Demonstrated ability to close deals at Tier 1 broadcasters, sports networks, major studios, or sports leagues

  • Conversational fluency in how broadcast and production customers actually work: ingest, editorial shared storage, media asset management, playout and automation, transcoding, archive and content lifecycle management, SDI-to-IP transitions, remote and distributed production workflows

  • Based within regular commuting distance to NYC

  • Bonus points for: Experience selling storage, data infrastructure, workflow automation, media asset management, playout, or production systems into media and entertainment accounts, and/or presence in industry organizations such as SVG, SMPTE, or NAB

The annual On-Target Earnings (OTE) for this role is USD $224,000 - $320,000 USD
