As part of this growth, we are looking for a Business Manager to contribute to the development of one of our strategic Business Units dedicated to Clinical Research and Life Sciences activities.

Your Mission

As a Business Manager, you will play a key role in the commercial development, consultant management, and client relationship management of your business perimeter, while contributing actively to Excelya’s growth strategy.

Your responsibilities will include:

Business Development & Client Management

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities through active prospecting and networking activities
  • Conduct client meetings, qualify needs, promote Excelya’s expertise and manage commercial negotiations
  • Build long-term partnerships with clients and ensure a high level of satisfaction
  • Participate in business reviews and strategic meetings with key stakeholders
  • Promote Excelya’s expertise across Clinical Operations, Biometrics, Pharmacovigilance, Regulatory Affairs, Medical Writing and Medical Affairs activities

Consultant Management & Recruitment

  • Recruit, onboard and manage consultants specialized in clinical research and Life Sciences
  • Ensure regular follow-up with consultants during their missions and support their career development
  • Manage staffing activities in collaboration with Talent Acquisition teams
  • Anticipate project endings and secure continuity of assignments for consultants
  • Contribute to maintaining a positive employee experience and strong consultant engagement

Business Performance & Operational Management

  • Contribute to the profitability and growth of your business perimeter
  • Monitor revenue, margins, forecasting and operational KPIs
  • Participate in the management of intercontract situations and staffing optimization
  • Ensure accurate reporting and proactive management of business activities

Cross-functional Collaboration & Strategy

  • Work closely with Recruitment, HR, Finance and Delivery teams to ensure operational excellence
  • Participate in the implementation of Excelya’s commercial strategy within the Clinical Research division
  • Contribute to market intelligence activities and identify emerging trends within the Life Sciences industry
  • Represent Excelya during networking events, congresses and industry meetings
