Client Relations Lead for Denmark  

We are looking for a Client Relations Lead in Denmark who thrives on uncovering new business opportunities within the advertising, TV and film industries and turning them into long-term collaborations — from established industry profiles to rising stars. 

 

Upright Music is the leading independent sync music agency in the Nordics, specialized in providing music for all kinds of audiovisual productions and film produced within the Nordics, the Baltics and Poland. We are based in Copenhagen and have an office in Warsaw as well.  

The job  

The primary responsibility will be to initiate and establish new client relations as well as develop and strengthen existing relations within the Danish TV, advertising, digital, documentary and film industry while operating from our Copenhagen office.  

 

In collaboration with our highly skilled Licensing Team, you will be responsible for coordinating and managing new business activities, re-activating former connections, as well as maintaining existing clients. Your tasks will include everything from identifying potential clients to closing deals, where your proactive approach and outgoing attitude combined with excellent administrative skills will be key. 

 

We are looking for someone who brings energy to every conversation, builds lasting relationships, and truly understands client needs. You pitch authentically and proactively, building trust through real dialogue rather than formal sales-heavy presentations. Above all, you are passionate about music’s role in storytelling and eager to help clients unlock its full potential. 

Primary tasks   

  • Make things happen! Close deals and get our music into play. 
  • Grow our client base through client pitches, meetings, presentations, etc.  
  • Research new client opportunities through market segmentation, also focusing on potential collaborations with emerging talent and new creatives. 
  • Develop and strengthen strong relationships with new and existing clients  
  • Representing Upright Music within creative communities, networks and industry contexts (award shows, film premieres, industry parties, etc.) 
  • Ensure great service to our clients and advise them in their interaction with our services and tools, alongside the Licensing team. 
  • Develop and implement innovative strategies to attract clients while continuously improving internal processes and ways of working.  
  • Various administrative tasks related to sales,  promotion, maintenance of CRM system etc.
