CORPORATE DEVELOPMENT
Job Purpose The Corporate Development team is responsible for driving the company's long-term growth and strategic evolution. As a Corporate Development , you will play a pivotal role in identifying, evaluating, and executing inorganic growth opportunities. This includes mergers and acquisitions (M&A), joint ventures, strategic alliances, divestitures, and corporate investments. You will act as a key connector between external market opportunities and internal executive leadership.
Key Responsibilities
1. Strategy & Market Intelligence Collaborate with senior executives to define and refine the company’s inorganic growth roadmap.Conduct continuous macroeconomic, industry research to identify emerging trends, market disruptions, and potential targets. Tracking market developments, precedent transactions, and comparable companies. Maintain a robust, proactive pipeline of acquisition, investment, and partnership targets.
2. Deal Sourcing & Evaluation Build and maintain relationships with investment bankers, venture capital/private equity firms, and target company management teams. Perform initial screening of inbound and outbound deal opportunities against corporate strategic criteria. Develop high-quality strategic rationale and business cases for presentation to the C-suite and Board of Directors.
3. Due Diligence & Deal Execution Coordinating due diligence processes and managing data rooms (in live deals) Coordinate internal cross-functional teams (Legal, Finance, Tax, HR, Product, Operations) and external advisors during the due diligence process. Lead the project management of the transaction lifecycle from Letter of Intent (LOI) to definitive documentation and closing.
4. Integration & Post-Closing Support Partner with operational teams to design post-merger integration (PMI) playbooks. Ensure that projected financial and operational synergies are tracked and realized post-acquisition
Role Requirements & Qualifications
Education & Experience Education: CA /MBA with at least 2-4 years of experience
