Role Summary and Impact

As part of the Global Operations Centre (GOC), you will work closely with teams across the United States, Europe, and Asia to deliver high-impact solutions in a collaborative, multicultural environment. We are looking for a Senior Executive BI who will:

  • As part of the Global Operations Centre (GOC), you will work closely with teams across the United States, Europe, and Asia to deliver high-impact solutions in a collaborative, multicultural environment. The Sr. Data Engineer is responsible for the design and build of cloud-based data solutions, working with other team members to manage the development and maintenance of business intelligence and data quality compliance tools. Reporting to the Assoc. Director based in the US, you will provide overviews of project status, progression, and roadblocks. We are looking for a Sr. Data Engineer who will:
  • Work closely with a team of data engineers, developers and UX designers to create our data pipeline and workflows to support our media performance reporting, managing the design, build and maintenance phases of client reporting projects.
  • Work with Business Intelligence/Data Operations to define and document reporting/visualization requirements, ensuring data quality and providing ongoing support and maintenance for existing workspaces.
  • Deploy new client teams to the cloud data solutions, providing guidance and support throughout the onboarding process.
  • Define QA guidelines and automate the current QA process, and—with support from the Assoc. Director—develop tools, processes, and best practices to achieve workflow efficiencies and drive value for client teams and clients.
  • Act as the subject matter expert for questions/projects relating to data quality, BI tools, and business rules, ensuring that best practices are being followed amongst all projects.
  • Facilitate communication and progression of tasks through regular status meetings and working sessions; proactively elevate and resolve project roadblocks; and build positive relationships with internal teams by effectively communicating roles, responsibilities, and expectations.

Skills and Experience

If this opportunity looks right for you, we are looking for candidates who have:

  • Bachelor's or advanced degree in Statistics, Economics, Business, Math, Computer Science, or Sciences (preferred).
  • A minimum of three to four years’ experience, including 2-3 years in data governance processes within a data warehousing, ETL and business intelligence environment.
  • Experience with the full development life cycle of an application or reporting solution—from design through test and deployment.
  • Experience in media (digital investment, analytics, or ad operations) and understanding of processes across multiple media channels (digital, search, social, offline, etc.), handling diverse datasets (paid media, owned, etc.).
  • Advanced knowledge of databases and data warehouses such as SQL, MySQL, PostgreSQL, Redshift, Snowflake, etc., and one or more programming languages (e.g., Python).
  • Knowledge of cloud platforms (Microsoft Azure, GCP, AWS) and data engineering platforms (e.g., Databricks).
  • Familiarity with business intelligence tools (Tableau, PowerBI) and project/product management tools (Jira, Confluence, Smartsheets, Azure DevOps/VSTS).
  • Experience with advertising campaign management/buying platforms such as Sizmek, GCM, Flashtalking, Moat, DV, IAS, Mediaocean, Nielsen, ComScore, Facebook, YouTube, Google Ads, SA360, DV360, Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, etc.
  • Exceptional organizational skills, multi-tasking capabilities, strong attention to detail, and excellent verbal and written communication skills.
