bunkered, part of DC Thomson media company, is looking for an Equipment Editor to lead our golf gear coverage across all platforms.
This role combines editorial flair, product expertise, and audience engagement, maintaining bunkered’s reputation as a trusted authority on golf equipment.
Do you know your MOI from your COR? Your Qi4D from your G440? If so, we want to hear from you!
bunkered is one of the UK's leading golf media brands and produces content across print magazines, digital, video, social media, and Apple News.
The ideal candidate should be equal parts gear expert and storyteller – someone who understands the golf equipment landscape and can translate that knowledge into high-performing gear content that drives traffic, engagement, and commerce.

Key Responsibilities Include:

- Manage relationships with equipment manufacturers, PR teams, and industry insiders
- Attend product launches, demo days, and industry events to report on new gear
- Analyse audience data and search trends to guide equipment content strategy
- Contribute to larger editorial projects, features, and tentpole golf events when relevant
- Maintain credibility and transparency through trusted, independent gear coverage
