We’re looking for a proactive and experienced IT professional to join our dynamic IT team in a role that blends operational support with improvement initiatives delivered through projects. This is a great opportunity to help shape and support a modern IT environment while making a visible impact across the organisation.
Reporting to the Head of IT, you’ll play a key role in maintaining and evolving our infrastructure across core networking, servers, cloud services, identity, endpoint management, and cyber security. You’ll work with technologies including Microsoft 365, Microsoft Entra, Intune, Windows Server, VMware virtualisation, and enterprise networking, balancing day-to-day support with project delivery and continuous improvement.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys a fast-paced environment, thrives on solving problems, and wants to contribute to the development of a modern IT service. You’ll collaborate with colleagues across the business, influence positive change, and have the opportunity to broaden your skills across infrastructure, cloud, security, and end-user technology.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Supporting and maintaining core IT infrastructure across servers, networks, firewalls, backup platforms, and cloud-connected services
- Administering Microsoft 365 services, including Microsoft Entra, Exchange, identity and access management, and core collaboration platforms
- Managing endpoint configuration and compliance using Microsoft Intune and modern device management approaches
- Acting as a key technical point of contact for IT support, helping users resolve issues quickly and effectively
- Monitoring systems proactively, improving resilience, and helping prevent issues before they arise
- Contributing to the design, implementation, and support of network solutions across LAN, WAN, wireless, and secure remote access
- Supporting and delivering IT projects, upgrades, migrations, and service improvements alongside day-to-day operations
- Applying security best practices across identity, devices, patching, access control, and endpoint protection
- Identifying opportunities to improve systems, processes, automation, and user experience
- Creating and maintaining clear technical documentation, support procedures, and user guides
- Providing user training and guidance to improve adoption of business systems and digital tools
- Taking part in an on-call rota to support critical incidents (approx. 1 week in 5)
