We are currently recruiting for Packing Operatives at our potato packing site in Boston, Lincolnshire.

As a Packing Operative you will be responsible for supporting production activity by packing finished bagged products into trays, crates and onto pallets. This is a physically demanding role which will require lifting and stacking of trays and boxes of varying weighs up to 25KG. General other factory duties will also be required.

Shift & Hours of work: Sunday to Thursday - fixed shift, working 18:00hrs to 02:15hrs

Salary: £12.71 per hour (plus 50p per hour backshift premium)

Responsibilities

  • Accurately pack finished potato products into containers, ensuring that all products meet quality and weight specifications.
  • Inspect products for any defects or quality issues, reporting any concerns to the supervisor.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the packing area, following all health and safety protocols.
  • Work collaboratively with team members to meet daily production targets and deadlines.
