About us

From day one, you’ll notice there is something special about working at Davy. Our success is built on 100 years of forging strong relationships with our clients and developing the careers of Ireland’s future business leaders.

Established in 1926, the Davy Group sits at the heart of wealth and capital in Ireland, providing a broad range of services to high-net-worth individuals, self-directed investors, small-to-medium enterprises, credit unions, corporations, and domestic & international institutional investors.

Our culture is shaped around three values, which are at the heart of everything we do: client success, one Davy, and building a proud legacy. Sharing the same goals, we work together to deliver exceptional outcomes for our clients. As part of a team of over 900, you will be encouraged to learn and to grow, both professionally and personally.

An exciting opportunity has opened up in our Information Systems department. We are looking for a Senior UI/UX designer to design software and platforms that meet our client’s needs. You should be able to lead workshops and gather the business requirements, any technical limitations, and translate these into coherent designs utilising user flows, customer journey maps, wireframes, and prototypes.

In the role, the successful candidate will:

  • Lead discovery and requirements-gathering workshops to understand user needs, business goals, and technical constraints
  • Translate complex concepts into clear user flows, journey maps, wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs
  • Partner with Product and Engineering to define and deliver solutions across the full product lifecycle
  • Facilitate and evolve the product vision through user research, ideation, prototyping, and usability testing
  • Design and deliver experiences optimised for mobile, tablet, and desktop (responsive & mobile-first)
  • Identify UX problems in new and existing products and propose thoughtful, evidence-based solutions
  • Evaluate existing applications and continuously improve usability, accessibility, and overall experience
  • Use analytics, insights, and testing results to inform design decisions and measure impact
  • Ensure designs meet usability, accessibility (WCAG), and brand standards
  • Collaborate closely with front-end developers to ensure high-quality implementation and design integrity
  • Contribute to and help evolve design systems, patterns, and best practices
  • Communicate design rationale clearly to stakeholders at all levels, from C-suite to delivery teams
  • Comply with Risk and Compliance frameworks, policies, and procedures relevant to the role
